Is it better to get a pre-visa or proper visa when you fly to Vietnam?

If you really enjoy queueing, get the pre-visa “permission to fly”, then you can line up to have that converted to a proper visa, then join the queues to get into the country (along with all the people who arrived in the plane after yours).
Getting a visa online is very easy these days. Go to https://vietnamembassyvisa.org.au/. This is the official website. There are dozens of other websites with similar names and, while most are not exactly scammers, they will charge you for doing something you could easily do yourself
